Tanya (she/her) is a finance lawyer on the Climate team in Ecojustice’s Toronto office.
Prior to joining Ecojustice in March 2022, Tanya litigated complex class proceedings involving securities, insurance, human rights, government liability, harassment, and product liability issues. She has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario. While attending law school at the University of Ottawa, Tanya worked at an international conservation organization to increase environmental protection in the energy and ocean industries through policy development. This experience, along with her childhood spent exploring local Ontario beaches and forests, underly Tanya’s desire to use her legal expertise to protect communities and defend nature.
In her spare time, Tanya enjoys reading, dabbling in the arts and discovering the green spaces around her Toronto home.
