Sarah joined Ecojustice as a staff lawyer in 2017, immediately after completing her articling term. She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Ottawa, and a JD from Dalhousie University in Halifax. Sarah’s litigation practice at Ecojustice focuses on protecting species and ecosystems in the Atlantic Provinces, and empowering local communities and grassroots organizations to fight for a healthy environment. When she’s not doing law-related things, Sarah can be found playing and listening to music, or bumbling her way through various climbing or hiking adventures with her dogs.
Sarah is grateful to live and work in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq covered by the Peace and Friendship Treaties. We are all Treaty People.
