Sara joined the philanthropy team at Ecojustice in Toronto in January 2023 as a Grant Writer.
Before joining Ecojustice, Sara has committed much of her own career to organizations working towards the advancement of women in Pakistan’s business sector and providing quality, affordable education to the least privileged in Pakistan. With a passion for social justice and bridging the gender gap, Sara looks forward to bringing her expertise and lived experiences to supporting Ecojustice’s critical work on JEDI;R (justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation), and is excited about contributing to an organization that is building a sustainable world.
On weekends, you will find Sara at home, in her sweatpants with a book and lots of cookies. Sara holds a postgraduate degree in Public Policy from Kings College London.
