Rémy Alexandre is the Toxics Project Lead at Ecojustice, where she is leading policy and campaign strategy to combat toxic pollution. Her current focus areas include championing the Right to a Healthy Environment in Canadian law, and bold, systemic action to protect communities and the environment against PFAS, or ‘forever chemicals.’ 

Rémy joined Ecojustice in 2021. As an LGBTQ+ professional with a background in education, philanthropy, and grassroots non-profits, Rémy is committed to work that uplifts the leadership of justice-deserving communities. She gratefully resides in the ancestral territories of the Huron-Wendat, Anishnaabeg, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations.

Rémy was educated at the University of Western Ontario (B.A., M.A.) and the University of California, Berkeley (M.A.).
