Lindsay joined Ecojustice in 2021, after several years of practice in civil litigation. She brings her experience in trial, appellate and tribunal litigation to bear in the environmental context, with a practice focused on advocacy in support of healthy communities and the preservation of Canada’s rich biodiversity.

Prior to law, Lindsay had a career as a journalist, reporting primarily from Sri Lanka and Beijing. Lindsay has a JD from the University of Toronto, where she was the recipient of the John Yaremko award in Human Rights. She views environmental law as a key facet in the advancement of human rights and social justice. When she is not at work, Lindsay can be found exploring urban nature with her twins, or, on her lucky days, enjoying a quiet solo paddle.
