Kristy Hayter (she/her) is the Acting Director of Strategic Communications at Ecojustice. Kristy is an experienced leader with strengths in strategic planning, media, and public relations, marketing, and campaign development.
She joined Ecojustice in July 2023 and uses her skills in marketing, communications, and public relations to help strengthen communities and make a positive impact on the world.
Kristy is a 20-year non-profit professional and currently serves on the Board of Dan’s Legacy as Vice President. In her personal time, she loves hiking with her dog, swimming, reading, and spending time in nature.
Kristy lives on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) people.
