Kegan has been a staff lawyer with Ecojustice since 2017. As a member of Ecojustice’s Nature and Climate teams, Kegan’s practice focuses on issues of forestry management, ecosystem and species protection, and major infrastructure development. He has represented Ecojustice and clients in regulatory proceedings and at all levels of court, including at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Kegan received his J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2013 and was called to the bar in British Columbia (2017). Since 2020, he has lived and worked on the traditional and ancestral territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation.
