Jasmeen joined Ecojustice in December 2023, stepping into the role of Legal Executive Assistant at the Toronto office, where she advances the strategic objectives of the Litigation Practice Team.

With a well-established knowledge of the environment, Jasmeen’s journey spans over a decade. Her academic foundation includes a degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation, followed by an MA in Geography, Environment, and Geomatics from the University of Guelph, Ontario. Jasmeen also holds a law degree from the UK. Returning to the Greater Toronto Area after living in London, England, where she contributed her expertise to Natural England, the UK Government’s advisor for implementing its 25-year environmental plan, Jasmeen is elated to be part of a team dedicated to combating legal climate challenges.

Jasmeen eagerly anticipates reintegrating into her local community in the GTA, seeking opportunities to volunteer with organizations closely aligned with her passion for animal welfare. For leisure, she can be found immersed in fiction, staying active by going to the gym and practicing pilates, or whipping up treats in the kitchen. Jasmeen also loves to be outdoors and cultivating meaningful connections with nature and friends.
