Imalka joined Ecojustice as a lawyer in 2022 after working with the organization as an articling student. She works on the traditional and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations in so-called Vancouver. Her work focuses primarily on protecting species-at-risk and challenging development that threatens our climate, ecosystems and biodiversity. Imalka loves being outside, and in her spare time you can find her reading in a park, rock climbing, or swimming in the ocean.
