Genevieve works as senior litigation support from Ecojustice’s Atlantic office.  Before enthusiastically jumping into her role at Ecojustice, she spent most of her legal career in various public service roles in Federal and Municipal departments. There she supported the work of counsel and tribunal members and officers in in Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship law,  criminal drug and organized crime prosecutions, courts administration and policy compliance promotion. On arriving in Nova Scotia, she supported the work of counsel in tax law with the Department of Justice.

She considers living in Halifax and working as a member of the Ecojustice team a long-held dream come true. She is elated to work for advocates of the earth and all of its creatures and is especially grateful to live and work in the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of  Mi’kma’ki (MEEG-MA-GEE), the ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people.
