Slam the door on Trans Mountain

Will you help slam on the door on Trans Mountain…for good?

The Trans Mountain expansion project poses an unacceptable risk to endangered Southern Resident killer whales, the iconic fish-eating orcas that live off the coast of British Columbia. They need a clean and quiet ocean if they are to survive.

Thanks your support, we celebrated a landmark victory last year when the Federal Court of Appeal ruled that Cabinet acted illegally when it approved the Trans Mountain project the first time around.

But Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his Cabinet are about to make the same mistake again, unless you send them a clear message that this project needs to be shut down forever.

Expanding the Trans Mountain pipeline will take us in the wrong direction on climate change. In the next 12 years Canada must cut its carbon emissions in half – not pump even more greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

Will you take action for Southern Residents, for communities that will be affected by the pipeline, and for our climate?

Tell Cabinet to say no to Trans Mountain.
