Grant Writer

Rémi (he/they) joined Ecojustice in 2021 as the Grant Writer for the Eastern team.

Currently based in Toronto, The Dish With One Spoon Treaty territory, Rémi works with the Philanthropy team to align resources and relationships in support of Ecojustice’s vital programming initiatives. As a descendent of European settlers, he is proud to work with an organization which centres Indigenous sovereignty, and which holds Canadian governments and corporations accountable to both the past and the future.

Rémi holds graduate degrees from the University of Western Ontario and UC Berkeley, and worked in higher education and nonprofit arts before joining Ecojustice. You can find Rémi enjoying local arts and culture, making a mess in the kitchen, and fighting a variety of losing battles with the household cats.
