Anna Cathrall

Monthly giving and legacy donor between 1993 and 2013

An  adventurous spirit, Anna Cathrall immigrated to Canada with only 40 British pounds in her pocket and within weeks, she became one of the country’s few female computer engineers when she landed a job at IBM.

When Anna retired to the Comox Valley, she communed with stream keeper and naturalist groups, counting birds and spending time in her beautiful garden. All who loved Anna will remember her passion for the environment dedicating energy towards repairing Mother Earth.

At Ecojustice, we are inspired by Anna’s life – who passed away in November 2013 – and we are truly thankful for having her support our work as a monthly donor for more than 23 years. We are also grateful for the generous legacy gift she left in her will ensuring her impact lives on so that future generations enjoy a healthy environment.
